Job summary

Otsuka is seeking a Director, Global Clinical Development to design and supervise clinical research programs for OPDC products. This role may be remote or based in Princeton, NJ or Rockville, MD, with leadership across Rheumatology, Immunology and Specialty Medicine programs.

The successful candidate will lead program strategies, oversee trials from Phase I–IV, and guide regulatory filings, while managing internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality results on time and budget.

Qualifications

• A clinician with MD or DO; rheumatology/nephrology/immunology background preferred.
• 3–6 years in pharma industry or translational clinical research.
• Strong grasp of clinical medicine, budgeting and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Designs and oversees clinical research programs and protocols.
• Interacts with medical, regulatory, and scientific leaders to optimize trials.
• Authors program strategies and oversees essential NDA and safety documents.
• Provides strategic oversight of vendor/CRO relationships.
• Supports regulatory filings and scientific communications.
