Job summary

Otsuka seeks a Director, Global Clinical Development (GCD) to design and oversee clinical research programs for OPDC products in a global market. The role can be remote or based in Princeton, NJ or Rockville, MD and requires rheumatology/immunology expertise with prior management experience.

You will lead trial strategies, manage vendor relationships, support regulatory filings and sign NDA submissions. Travel up to 30% internationally.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with rheumatology, nephrology or immunology background.
• 3-6 years in pharma or translational clinical research.
• Strong understanding of drug development and clinical trial operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in meetings and presentations.
• Experience leading teams and managing external investigators.

Responsibilities

• Designs and oversees clinical research programs and protocols.
• Acts as signatory on NDA submissions and safety documents.
• Provides strategic oversight of vendor and CRO relationships.
• Leads product lifecycle input and regulatory filing support.
• Travels up to 30% internationally as needed.
