Job summary

Eurasia Group seeks a Director to lead the Agriculture & Forestry Practice in the US, combining advisory sales with geopolitical risk insights. Based in New York or Washington DC, you will grow the client base by delivering high-value insights and shaping strategic engagements with farms, cooperatives, agrochemical firms, and forestry players.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years' client-facing experience.
Experience in sales, advisory roles or consulting is preferred.
Strong understanding of agriculture/forestry policy issues is valued.
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic account plans and support practice leadership with strategy and pitches.
Lead prospecting, client proposals, and contract negotiations including renewals.
Build and maintain deep client relationships and drive long-term growth.
Monitor political risks, policy developments, and market trends affecting clients.
Collaborate with analysts and teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
