Job description

The Global Access Strategy and Pricing (GASP) Breast Cancer Director role directly impacts the ability to achieve business objectives by supporting the development of strategic guidance on access, pricing, optimal reimbursement, launch sequencing, patient value, and evidence generation for the Breast Cancer franchise.

Overview

The Breast Cancer franchise is a prioritized Oncology sector, comprising products recently post-DP3, with pre-DP3 indications, and pre-launch and in-line products. The franchise includes KAT6, CDK4, Vepdegestrant, and Ibrance. The strategic goal is to advance breast cancer treatment through next-generation treatment backbones and novel combinations, leveraging both internal and external partnerships.

Role Focus

This position emphasizes a ‘One Global Access and Value’ approach, collaborating with the Breast GASP team and other GAV colleagues (USMA, HV&E). The primary focus is on early assets and indications, specifically KAT6 and CDK4, working closely with the CDK4 GASP Lead to develop and implement the integrated value and access strategy (IVAS). This strategy aims to optimize long-term product value through pricing, access, launch sequencing, and evidence planning. The role reports to the GASP Breast Cancer Team Lead within GAV.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate & synthesize payer insights: Maintain understanding of payer regulations across markets, support assessment of access trends, and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  2. Develop payer value propositions and market access strategies: Create cohesive strategies to maximize product value, engage with country-specific teams, and align clinical and commercial strategies with payer insights.
  3. Advance functional excellence in Global Market Access: Build cross-functional relationships, develop expertise in key markets, and operate efficiently within a matrix environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience (or relevant advanced degree and fewer years of experience).
  • Experience in developing and executing market access and pricing strategies in US and key international markets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced healthcare, business, or economic degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MBA).
  • Experience with breast cancer agents and knowledge of HTA and payer requirements.
  • Strong project management and cross-cultural leadership skills.
