This role partners with Product, Engineering, Legal, and FP&A to drive timely closes, implement new standards, and strengthen internal controls in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• CPA license.
• 10+ years of experience including Big 4 and leadership in high-growth companies.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge in US GAAP.
• Experience in financial services or payment-related accounting.
• Ability to translate complex accounting jargon into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end global financial reporting and consolidate US GAAP statements.
• Lead regulated entity reporting and ensure compliance with evolving rules.
• Advise on accounting implications of product launches and complex transactions.
• Develop GAAP policies and support post-merger integration and product launches.
• Build a robust internal control environment aligned with SOX requirements and Capital One standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal and FP&A to manage new product launches.
