Job summary

Boulder Valley School District seeks a Director for the Full Length Play at Boulder High to lead program operations and ensure student engagement and success. The director reports to the athletic director and the building principal, directing activities and coordinating staff and volunteers.

The role requires after-school availability and a strong leader capable of working with high school students while promoting a positive, equitable student experience across BVSD.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Complete and submitted BVSD online application.
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.

Summary:

Directs the activity and coordinates a program which allows students to develop their interests. The Director for the program reports to the athletic director and building principal.

Responsibilities:

Leadership is to be provided in the following areas:

• Organization and supervision of the play.
• Setting directions and expectations for the play.
• Monitoring eligibility and academic progress for the play.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age, or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Complete and submitted BVSD online application
• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English

Preferred:

• Must be available after school,evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of all aspects of senior high school activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience in working with high school students.

Salary Information:

Salary Placementvaries according to experience and education.

*Pay range listed above is for employees newly hired to BVSD or current BVSD employees that are new to the employee group (existing employees currently in this unit please refer to the pay range on the appropriate salary schedule).
