Upgrade is seeking a Director of Product Management for its Fraud team in a hybrid role based in downtown San Francisco. You will own end-to-end fraud infrastructure, risk models, third‑party data integrations, and consumer verification systems.

This role requires 10+ years in product leadership within fintech and strong cross-functional collaboration. You’ll lead engineering scrum teams, balance tradeoffs between conversion and security, and work with fraud management, information

• 10+ years of product management experience in fintech or a fast-paced startup.
• Proven track record leading fraud platforms and risk initiatives.
• Strong data-driven decision making and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own product development for Upgrade's fraud infrastructure, including detection, models, and consumer verification.
• Lead cross-functional tradeoffs between conversion, fraud prevention, and security.
• Collaborate with fraud management to monitor and improve fraud KPIs.
• Act as product owner for scrum teams delivering fraud platform enhancements.
• Evaluate third party data and software integrations.
• Coordinate with operations to monitor and resolve issues.
