GreenLite, an AI-native permitting intelligence company, is seeking a Director of FP&A in New York City to partner with the CFO and leadership team on pricing, capacity planning, and capital allocation. You will elevate planning and analytics to scale the business.

Lead financial modelling, dashboards, and cross-functional reporting while driving process improvement across Product, Sales, Legal and Finance, with emphasis on automation and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5-7+ years in FP&A or finance leadership roles.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems; automation/AI interest a must.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting.

About the Role:

GreenLite is an AI-native permitting intelligence company backed by Insight Partners and Craft Ventures, and we are growing quickly. As Director of FP&A, you will partner with the CFO and leadership team to guide decisions on pricing, sales capacity, and capital allocation. You will build on a strong finance foundation and take our planning and analytics to the next level. Permitting is a major industry we are modernizing, and finance plays a central role in how we scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Strategic Planning: Partner with CFO in leading the company’s annual budgeting, long-range strategic planning, monthly and intra-month forecasting.

• Financial Modelling: Own all financial models for evaluation of business performance, capital raising and key stakeholder reporting.

• Management Reporting: Prepare insightful dashboards to be used cross-functionally which highlight key performance indicators and variance analyses.

• Key Business Partner: Collaborate closely with critical stakeholders to manage expenses, business performance and strategic initiatives.

• Process Optimization: Work with Product, Sales/Revenue Operations, Legal and Finance to optimize systems integrations, process and data fidelity.

• Sales Analytics: Partner with CRO and Head of Revenue Operations to provide insights on Sales team activity and performance.

About You:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7+ years in FP&A is required

• Systems: Experience with CRMs and Financial ERPs; Rillet and Hubspot is a plus but not required. Passion for automation and AI is a must.

• Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling is required.

• Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations for leadership.

• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to be a player-coach and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence stakeholders across the organization.

• Industry Knowledge: Experience with tech-abled services is a plus but not a must. Deep understanding of business operations and GAAP principles required
