This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere within the U.S.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, Foundation Relations, this role is responsible for leading a team of frontline foundation fundraisers across the country, managing a personal portfolio of foundation donors with a goal of approximately $1 million+ annually. The role includes developing team strategy, reviewing proposals, monitoring revenue and staff productivity, and supporting high-quality donor communications. The overarching goal is to support the team in securing new funding to achieve a collective foundation revenue target of $5 - $10 million.

Major Responsibilities

1. Lead nationwide efforts to solicit foundation prospects.
2. Oversee and support a team of 4+ frontline fundraisers, fostering their professional growth and success.
3. Manage a portfolio of 10-50 donors, securing approximately $1 million in gifts and grants annually.
4. Enhance stewardship and reporting to foundation donors.
5. Collaborate across departments to meet regional fundraising goals.

Qualifications

Formal Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience managing donor-facing teams, with a successful record of securing large gifts from foundations.

Compensation and Benefits
