Job summary

Chicago Fire FC seeks a visionary Director of Development and Foundation Programs to lead fundraising, grants, sponsorships, and programs for the Chicago Fire Foundation. You will build diverse revenue streams, cultivate partnerships, and drive growth that advances the Foundation’s mission to serve Chicago's communities.

The ideal candidate has 6-8 years in nonprofit development, strong leadership, budgeting, and the ability to work non-traditional hours at events, including home games or other

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in nonprofit development and leadership.
• Proven track record in fundraising, grants, sponsorships, and donor relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy across multiple channels.
• Cultivate donor, partner, and sponsor relationships to expand revenue.
• Lead planning and execution of major fundraising events with excellence.
• Oversee fundraising communications, visibility, and impact storytelling.
• Plan and evaluate Foundation programs, including signature initiatives.
• Oversee data collection, reporting, and budget forecasts for Foundation activities.
