Job summary

Quality Chemical Laboratories (QCL) in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a senior leader for the Formulations/Manufacturing Development group. The role focuses on solid oral dosage forms, with growth into other dosage forms.

You will drive the team from concept to prototype and through cGMP manufacturing, interfacing with clients and internal PM, BD, supply chain and analytical support. The ideal candidate holds a college degree and has 3–5 years of formulation development and GMP manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in formulation development and GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with solid oral dosage forms preferred.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with early phase cGMP manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lead and interface with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Formulations/Manufacturing Development laboratory and GMP manufacturing/packaging operations.
• Interface with clients, Project Management, Business Development, Supply Chain and Analytical Support.
• Lead the Formulations team and guide projects from concept through cGMP manufacturing.
