Job summary

Quality Chemical Laboratories (QCL) in Wilmington, NC, seeks a Formulations/Manufacturing Development Director to lead the formulation development laboratory and GMP manufacturing/packaging operations. The focus is on solid oral dosage forms, with other dosage forms considered to grow the business.

You will drive projects from concept and prototype through cGMP manufacturing and interface with clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in formulation development and GMP manufacturing.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with early-phase cGMP manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Formulations lab and manufacturing development efforts.
• Oversee GMP manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Interface with clients, PM, Business Development, Supply Chain, and Analytical Support.
• Drive projects from concept to product prototype and cGMP production.
