Job summary

Quality Chemical Laboratories (QCL) in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Formulations/Manufacturing Development Director to lead the formulation development laboratory and GMP manufacturing/packaging operations. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

You will manage projects from concept and product prototype through cGMP manufacturing, interface with clients and cross-functional teams, and guide the Formulations group toward growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in formulation development and GMP manufacturing.
• Proven leadership abilities with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and cGMP manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Formulations team and GMP manufacturing/packaging operations.
• Interface with clients, Project Management, Business Development, Supply Chain and Analytical Support.
• Lead development from concept to prototype through compliant production.
