Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP’s Forensic & Dispute Advisory Services practice seeks a Director to lead complex forensic accounting, economic damages, and litigation support engagements while guiding client relationships and scaling the practice.

The role requires mentoring teams, delivering clear financial analyses, and contributing to expert witness testimony as needed. A minimum of 10 years’ forensic experience and CPA/CFF/CFE credentials are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline; CPA/CFF/CFE preferred.
• 10+ years of forensic/audit experience including expert witness testimony.
• Advanced forensic accounting, economic damages, litigation support, audit, or corporate accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic accounting, economic damages, and litigation support engagements from strategy through delivery.
• Guide preparation and review of discovery requests, analyses, damages calculations, and related deliverables.
• Develop and review approaches to calculating damages and critique opposing reports.
• Manage multiple client relationships while communicating results clearly and timely.
• Participate in leadership to grow the practice and scale the team’s operating model.
• Mentor and develop professionals across the team and support career growth.
• Provide expert witness testimony when required.
