Job summary

Shorr Packaging Corp in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Director of Food Packaging to lead GTM and customer solutions. You will translate market trends and customer needs into go-to-market plays, enable sales teams, and drive pipeline and revenue growth.

This role requires 7+ years in food packaging, executive presence, CRM proficiency, and collaboration across marketing, operations, and suppliers. Domestic travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in food/beverage packaging (materials, equipment, automation, or contract packaging).
• Experience creating and executing go-to-market and business development strategy.
• Working knowledge of food safety/quality systems and translating requirements into packaging solutions.
• Experience partnering with operations/plant teams and suppliers to implement packaging programs.
• Strong analytical, financial acumen, and presentation skills with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the go-to-market strategy for food packaging (materials, equipment, and services).
• Partner with sales reps to build territory/account plans and close opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams to scope, price, and win strategic packaging programs.
• Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and support negotiations.
• Monitor pricing discipline and margin performance with leadership.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships to support joint selling and expansion.
