Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license NM or eligible via another state with NM licensure within 6 months of hire.
• CFM certification or within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Flood Commission department.
• Develop strategic plans for flood mitigation and infrastructure resilience.
• Review plans, permits, and capital projects for compliance and quality.
• Manage budgets, grants, and contracts for engineering projects.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders; respond to emergencies.
