Job summary

The ASPCA is seeking a Director, Fleet Safety and Compliance to lead the development and ongoing improvement of our fleet safety and compliance strategy across all programs, mobile clinics and field deployments. You will ensure adherence to federal, state and local regulations for all ASPCA vehicles and drivers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of DOT and other fleet safety laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to implement and improve fleet safety programs across sites.
• Ability to design organization-wide driver training and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience partnering with Legal, People and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of fleet safety and compliance strategy.
• Oversee driver training, qualifications and incident response processes.
• Coordinate DOT filings, audits and regulatory reporting for ASPCA fleet.
• Develop cross-functional relationships with programs, legal and operations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet safety initiatives.
