Job summary

You will report to the TAS Practice Line Leader and manage discreet workstreams with senior leaders.

The role requires CPA licensure, 8+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to relocate or work in multiple U.S. cities.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• 8+ years of financial due diligence experience with exposure to financial services or insurance sector transactions or equivalent Big 4 experience.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP principles and financial services accounting considerations.
• Proficiency with specialized financial modeling tools.
• Superior written and verbal communication, including executive-ready presentations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Portage Point leaders and clients to develop solutions for complex financial transactions.
• Lead client discussions and build relationships with bank sponsors, PE firms, and lenders.
• Apply FIG-focused valuation frameworks to analyze financial services entities.
• Conduct buy-side and sell-side due diligence including quality of earnings and debt analysis.
• Draft clear reports with key takeaways on earnings normalization, budgets, indebtedness, and post-transaction matters.
• Review financial services contracts to identify deal implications.
• Support marketing and FIG business development efforts.
• Collaborate with performance improvement, restructuring and investment banking teams.
