Word of Life Fellowship, Inc. seeks a CFO to provide spiritual and operational leadership of the Financial Services team, directing budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning for the organization.

You will analyze cash position, strengthen internal controls, and coordinate with the COO and Global Leadership Team to prepare statements, forecasts, and reports for management and regulatory agencies. A strong faith-based, leadership-focused candidate is required.

Qualificações

• Clear understanding of Biblical stewardship.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Working knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Previous history and/or connection to Word of Life ministry.
• 5 years of experience with Word of Life preferred
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide spiritual leadership of the Financial Services team through regular prayer and encouragement from God’s Word.
• Provide organizational leadership of the Financial Services team through regular one on ones meetings and team meetings.
• Direct the financial planning, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow for Word of Life Fellowship, Inc.
• Analyze and manage cash position utilizing trend analysis, opportunity projections, and strategies with the goal of maximizing ministry resources.
• Review and strengthen internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities including budget administration, cash and credit management, insurance administration, and accounting.
• Fiscal monitoring and requisition of funds relating to ongoing projections in coordination with Chief Operating Officer and Global Leadership Team members
• Prepare financial statements, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by management and regulatory agencies.
• Provide guidance to Financial Services team ensuring fiscal transactions are posted correctly.
• Provide internal support and input to all ministry units regarding efficient control and utilization of financial resources as well as accounting and budgeting process.
• Manage relationships with banking, insurance, and other representatives to facilitate financial activities.
• Oversee and coordinate with outside auditors and internal staff in the preparation of the audited statements and tax reports.
• Lead staff training and development in budgeting and financial management areas.
• Develop and implement and ongoing personal and professional performance development for all direct reports.
• Oversee tax compliance for the organization (i.e. payroll, sales, bed).
