Jobot, an M&A advisory firm, is seeking a Lead M&A Transactions professional for 100% remote work. The role focuses on leading financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side deals, analyzing earnings quality, and guiding engagement teams with clients ranging from private equity to corporate clients.

The ideal candidate has Big Four experience, a finance or accounting degree, and an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the firm’s market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Big 4 required KPMG, EY, PwC, or Deloitte.
• Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset with ability to source clients and grow the book of business.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
• Analyze historical financial performance, identify trends and risks, and assess impact on transaction value.
• Evaluate quality of earnings, EBITDA adjustments, working capital, net debt, cash flow, and financial statements.
• Synthesize data into actionable insights and present findings to clients and management.
• Prepare and present detailed due diligence reports on EBITDA, working capital, debt, and structure.
• Lead and mentor engagement teams, oversee execution and timely delivery of deliverables.
• Manage client relationships and set expectations throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Participate in meetings with client stakeholders and target company management.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
• Analyze historical financial performance, identify key trends and risks, and assess their potential impact on transaction value.
• Evaluate quality of earnings, EBITDA adjustments, working capital, net debt, cash flow, and financial statements.
• Synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights, presenting findings and recommendations to clients and target company management.
• Prepare and present detailed financial due diligence reports, including analyses of EBITDA, working capital, financial statements, debt, and capital structure.
• Lead and mentor engagement teams, oversee project execution, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality client deliverables.
• Manage client relationships, communicate findings, and set expectations throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls with client stakeholders, target company management, and other deal professionals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance due diligence methodologies, streamline processes, and improve engagement quality.
• Contribute to business development, client relationship expansion, and the growth of the financial due diligence practice.
