Job summary

Bruin partners with a global financial institution to recruit a Director in its New York Finance organization. This senior, hands-on role oversees financial control, broker-dealer accounting and regulatory reporting, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

The candidate will lead and develop the Finance team, own month-end close, GL processes, and regulatory and SOX matters, while driving process improvements in a complex capital markets environment.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• 10+ years of experience in financial control/regulatory reporting or broker-dealer finance.
• Strong understanding of FINRA/SEC broker-dealer requirements.
• Experience with Net Capital / Rule 15c3-1 preferred.
• Series 27 preferred; ability to obtain registration may be considered.
