Job summary

SBA Communications is seeking a Director of Financial Applications to lead strategy, modernization, and governance of our enterprise financial systems and ERP platforms. You will guide architecture, integration, and platform lifecycle while partnering with Finance, IT, and Audit to ensure security, scalability, and business value.

You will mentor teams, drive cloud-based initiatives, and align initiatives with enterprise standards and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise financial applications, ERP platforms, or related technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, cloud-based applications, and IT governance.
• Experience with SOX, ITGC, risk management, and audit practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Applicable industry certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, architecture, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise financial applications and ERP platforms.
• Define and govern architecture standards for financial systems.
• Develop a multi-year roadmap aligned with business priorities and transformation strategies.
• Collaborate with Finance and stakeholders to identify optimization and automation opportunities.
• Provide leadership across design, implementation, and operations; govern integration and security standards.
• Drive modernization using cloud technologies and scalable architectures; manage vendor relationships.
