Job summary

The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional aid rules, handles student communications, and maintains departmental websites and social media presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five to eight years relevant experience.
• One to three years staff management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage the awarding of all initial federal funds and determine student eligibility.
• Complete verification and c-Flags; make awards to eligible students promptly.
• Oversee the over-awards report and stay updated on federal regulations for aid awarding.
• Manage front-line communications: mass emails, calls, award letters, texts, walk-ins.
• Counsel students and parents regarding availability of financial aid funds.
• Oversee maintenance of the Financial Aid website and social media accounts.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure timely reporting and accuracy.
