The Role

The Director of Financial Transformation will lead the continued evolution of the company's Finance and Accounting technology ecosystem. This person will work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and other business leaders to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, system optimization, and scalable growth.

You will be responsible for leading teams and projects while serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring a combination of people leadership, financial systems expertise, project management, business process knowledge, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial systems and transformation professionals.


• Establish priorities, goals, processes, and operating rhythms for the Financial Transformation function.


• Build a high-performing, collaborative team capable of delivering both strategic initiatives and day-to-day systems support.


• Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business leadership to establish priorities and align systems initiatives with broader company objectives.


• Serve as a senior subject matter expert and escalation point for complex financial systems and process issues.

Financial Systems & Transformation

• Own and drive the roadmap for financial systems transformation and optimization.


• Lead major Finance and Accounting technology initiatives from strategy and requirements gathering through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.


• Evaluate existing systems and processes and recommend improvements based on business needs and future growth.


• Lead cross-functional projects involving Finance, Accounting, IT, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders.


• Develop project plans, establish milestones, manage resources, identify risks, and ensure successful delivery.

NetSuite Ownership

• Serve as a senior leader and strategic business partner around NetSuite, the company's core financial platform.


• Oversee the optimization and continued evolution of NetSuite across Finance and Accounting.


• Partner with NetSuite administrators, developers, consultants, and business stakeholders on system enhancements and implementations.


• Translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable system solutions.


• Help establish best practices around NetSuite governance, architecture, documentation, change management, and system controls.

Strategic & Hands-On Execution

• Develop a long-term vision for the Finance technology ecosystem while maintaining ownership of near-term execution.


• Analyze business processes and systems personally when necessary rather than relying solely on technical teams or consultants.


• Balance competing priorities across strategic transformation initiatives, operational support, and business-critical projects.


• Manage external consultants, implementation partners, and technology vendors as needed.

AI Strategy & Roadmap

• Develop and own the organization's AI roadmap as it relates to Finance, Accounting, Financial Systems, and broader business transformation.


• Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and business leaders to evaluate emerging AI capabilities and determine where they can create measurable business value.


• Develop a prioritized roadmap for AI adoption, balancing near-term opportunities with longer-term strategic initiatives.


• Assess how AI can be incorporated into existing platforms, including NetSuite and other enterprise applications, while maintaining appropriate controls, security, data governance, and accuracy.


• Serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership on how AI can reshape financial operations and the broader Finance technology landscape.

Salesforce & Enterprise Applications

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders across the broader enterprise application ecosystem.


• Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable, particularly where CRM, sales operations, billing, revenue, and financial systems intersect.


• Collaborate with IT and application owners to ensure Finance systems are effectively integrated into the broader technology environm
