Job summary

Group O, Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance Shared Services in Milan, IL to oversee AP, cash application, collections, expense management, master data, and payroll. You will lead the Shared Services team with a focus on centralized processes and ERP efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in finance with 5+ years in supervision, strong Excel and D365 expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration. This is a full-time on-site position in Milan, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years progressive accounting/finance experience in a dynamic environment.
• 5+ years supervisory experience.
• 5+ years accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance Shared Services daily operations, supervise employees, and manage workload balance.
• Oversee critical accounting functions: AP, AR, collections, payroll, and journal entries.
• Maintain ERP configurations and standardize centralized processes across the team.
• Develop and track SLAs/KPIs; provide performance reporting to leadership.
• Support external audits and drive process improvements for cost savings and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliant workflows and policies.
• Lead training to improve processes and ERP usage; develop process documentation.
