Position Summary:
The Director of Finance oversees the development and execution of strategies to support financial and business objectives within the Research department. This key leadership role advises on research financial administration best practices, maintains relationships with principal investigators, physicians, and the research community, and seeks initiatives to improve financial efficiency by reducing costs and capturing revenue. The role also involves developing research administration training, mentoring team members, and managing various projects.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, primarily remote position, with occasional travel to the office as needed.
Work Experience: Minimum 10 years in Finance and Research Operations/Administration.
Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Certified Research Administrator preferred.
