Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Hospital Heart Institute is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in fetal echocardiography and cardiac imaging to lead our fetal cardiology program. You will oversee inpatient and outpatient services, expand outreach, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance care for fetal heart conditions.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school with fellowship in pediatric cardiology.
• Five+ years in pediatric echocardiography with fetal cardiology focus preferred.
• ABMS pediatric cardiology board certification and Florida license eligibility.
• Exceptional written and oral communication; collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach fetal screening opportunities across neonatal/MFM network.
• Provide inpatient care with transthoracic and transesophageal echo options.
• Conduct outpatient clinics at main campus and satellites.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to advance fetal cardiology care.
• Foster excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor staff, fellows and medical students; demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Strengthen community outreach with MFMs and OBs locally.
• Maintain positive workplace culture to attract and retain staff.
