Job summary

City of Indianapolis and Marion County seeks a Director to oversee the Marion County Family and Youth Intervention Center, a 24/7/365 facility providing services to youth with a 20-bed capacity. You will coordinate program development, staff supervision, grants, budgeting and external partnerships.

The role requires extensive initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and quality standards across all services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of accredited master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related human service field.
• Four years of supervisory/administrative experience in child welfare or similar setting, or one year supervisory experience with a qualifying license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all activities of the Marion County Family and Youth Intervention Center.
• Assist in hiring, training and staff development for center personnel.
• Secure and maintain licensing with the Indiana Department of Children’s Services.
