Job summary

Jack Morton Worldwide in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Director of Fabrication Operations for experiential and live events. This senior role leads multi-department production, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams to deliver high-visibility activations with efficiency and safety at the core.

You will drive performance, scale fabrication, and partner with senior leadership to align operations with company objectives, champion continuous improvement, and mentor a high-performing leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations or production management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Direct experience in trade show fabrication, or live event environments
• Expertise in managing large-scale production for custom, high-visibility projects with tight timelines
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and deadlines for live events.
• Oversee production and delivery of custom builds for trade shows and branded environments.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and scale production.
• Collaborate with engineering, creative, supply chain, and finance for seamless execution.
• Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

About the Role

In this high-impact leadership position, you’ll oversee all aspects of ourmultiple operational departmentsat our Las Vegas facility, with a focus on efficiency, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You’ll lead cross-functional teams spanning production, supply chain, engineering, quality assurance and finance to deliver exceptional results for major brand activations and live experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and project deadlines for live and experiential events
• Oversee the production and delivery of custom builds for trade shows, branded environments, and temporary installations
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and scale production capabilities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, creative, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution
• Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
• Monitor KPIs and drive data-informed decision-making across departments
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing leadership team
• Work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategy with company goals

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations or production management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Direct experience intrade show fabrication, or live event environments
• Expertise in managing large-scale production for custom, high-visibility projects with tight timelines
• Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills
• Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation or advanced manufacturing technologies
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Proven success leading cultural and operational transformation initiatives
