Job summary

CSL Vifor seeks a Director, Project Management Due Diligence to lead external innovation assessments, including in-licensing and partnerships. You will craft integrated development plans, timelines, and budgets for DD evaluations and establish templates to ensure consistency and quality.

You will partner with Search & Evaluation leads to align cross-functional teams, drive timely evaluations, and support senior leadership decisions on portfolio growth and strategic collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science; PhD preferred.
• 12+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• 8+ years as project manager leading cross-functional project teams in a matrixed, global environment.
• Experience delivering projects on time, within budget and with quality.
• Experience orchestrating asset due diligence across scientific/clinical/CMC/Reg/IP/Commercial orgs.
• Strong understanding of drug development processes and external innovation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DD toolkit, templates, documents and knowledge management.
• Lead due diligence assessments of potential in-licensing or acquisition opportunities.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, budgets and program risks.
• Ensure timely completion of scientific, clinical, regulatory, IP, legal, and commercial evaluations.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and escalation issues to leadership.
