The Director, Compensation at Consumers Energy & CMS Energy leads the design, governance and administration of all compensation programs, advising executive leadership on market practices, equity design, and disclosure. The role partners with payroll, legal, finance and HR to ensure competitive, compliant total rewards aligned with business goals.

Based in a hybrid setup with onsite days in Jackson, MI, the candidate will oversee executive compensation, incentive programs, and rate-case

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field with 10+ years of compensation experience.
• Experience designing executive compensation programs and governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the design and administration of compensation programs.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations (FSLA, DOL) and implement communication programs.
• Oversee executive and incentive compensation, including rate case testimony.
• Lead strategic planning for pay-for-performance and market-based compensation.
