Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Director-level leader to shape and guide evidence generation strategies for assigned assets across the product lifecycle. You will integrate stakeholder insights, emerging data, and changing evidence landscapes to inform decisions from registration to lifecycle management.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Medical, R&D, Market Access, and Evidence Generation to align priorities and ensure compliant, impactful evidence generation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with extensive experience in medical affairs, clinical development, epidemiology, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant scientific/quantitative background.
• Experience supporting evidence strategy development and execution for products/assets/indications.
• Knowledge of evidence generation across the product lifecycle and its role in stakeholder decisions.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence generation strategy for assigned assets across the product lifecycle.
• Develop integrated evidence plans translating priorities into sequenced studies and dissemination activities.
• Provide scientific oversight from concept to execution of studies.
• Drive alignment across teams, governance forums, and external partners to enable timely evidence delivery.
• Partner with functions and regions to support registration, launch, market access, and differentiation.
• Engage external stakeholders and communicate evidence through advisory activities and scientific forums.
