Job summary

Carta is seeking a Director, Fund Administration - Europe to lead the European fund accounting team across UK and Luxembourg. You will own delivery quality, client relationships and timely reporting, while partnering with Sales and leadership to drive growth.

In this role you’ll coach senior fund accounting professionals, shape standards and controls, and leverage technology to scale operations. A proven track record in VC/PE fund administration is essential.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years in fund accounting or fund administration
• 3–5 years managing teams and client relationships
• Understanding of UK and Luxembourg fund structures
• Ability to build trusted relationships with fund finance and operations teams
• Strong judgment and problem-solving
• Experience contributing to upsell or expansion is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the European fund accounting team to deliver quality and timeliness
• Own accounting standards, controls and audit readiness
• Improve execution across VC/PE fund administration and data collection
• Plan team capacity and processes to scale without compromising quality
• Use technology and automation to reduce manual work and review cycles
• Monitor client health and satisfaction; identify risks early
• Build trusted relationships with fund finance and operations teams
• Partner with Product, Engineering and R&D to capture client requirements
• Collaborate with Sales to identify expansion opportunities
