Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Director, Business Development Officer for Capital Equipment Finance. You will originate lease and loan transactions for Sponsor-backed companies ranging from $3MM to $100MM, working with C-suite sponsors and internal credit teams.

This remote role requires strong credit and structuring skills, cross-selling of bank products, and a robust network of Sponsor relationships across industries like construction, manufacturing, energy, and transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Direct and Indirect originations of transactions ranging from $3MM to $100MM OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Direct and Indirect origination Sponsor referred transactions ranging from $3MM to $100MM

Responsibilities

• Cross sell other First Citizens bank products through internal referrals
• Interface with C Suite level executives and Sponsor referral sources.
• Solicit and origination transactions across multiple equipment types and industries including; construction, manufacturing - discrete and process, automotive, energy, transportation, chemicals and plastics, inland marine.
• Act as deal advocate using strong credit skills in working with the underwriting teams to facilitate transactions through closing.
