Job summary

First Citizens Bank’s Capital Equipment Finance (CEF) unit seeks an accomplished equipment finance originator to lead transactions from $3MM to $100MM, including syndication. You will work remotely across markets in the US, interfacing with C-suite executives and cross-selling other bank products.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in equipment finance deal origination, deep credit and structuring knowledge, and a proven track record of closing across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Direct and Indirect originations of transactions ranging from $3MM to $100MM
• Alternative: High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of experience in Direct and Indirect origination sponsor-referred transactions
• BA in Business or Economics preferred and ELFA membership is a plus
• Understanding of market deal structures and tax lease products

Responsibilities

• Originate transactions of $3MM to $100MM for CET's own account and via syndication
• Cross-sell other First Citizens bank products through internal referrals
• Interface with C-suite level executives throughout the deal lifecycle
• Leverage strong credit, collateral and structuring skills to move deals to close
