The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department seeks a Full-time Director of Epic Applications focused on Laboratory Information Systems. You will lead design, build, testing, and deployment of LIS solutions with a focus on Epic Beaker (CP/AP) and related modules.

You will partner with senior leadership to drive strategic IT initiatives, optimize patient experiences, and ensure successful delivery of large-scale Epic projects while managing teams, budgets, and timelines in a

Qualifications

Epic Beaker certification CP/AP required.
Experience with Epic Orders and Data Innovation preferred.
10+ years in healthcare IT.
Experience leading large teams.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

Provide leadership on design, implementation, build, testing, modification, and analysis of LIS applications.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
Manage staff and allocate resources for projects and programs.
Establish clear communication with clinical and business leaders and lead project team meetings.
Oversee scope, budget, schedule, and quality of LIS projects.
Partner with IT teams to develop streamlined services for incidents, requests, and projects.
