Job summary

Geisinger seeks an enterprise strategy lead embedded with a designated business unit, partnering with BU leadership to shape strategy and translate direction into actionable plans. The Director ensures governance, enterprise priorities, and disciplined execution across the system.

Responsibilities include framing strategic questions, developing plans, coordinating with ACSO, and leading executive strategy sessions to drive decisive, enterprise-aware outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years managerial/supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leaders to frame strategic questions and set direction aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Translate strategy into multi-year and annual plans with budgets, timelines, and resource needs.
• Surface cross‑business dependencies and risks; coordinate with Strategy Directors and ACSO to resolve tradeoffs.
• Define analytic questions and translate insights into decision-ready options and risks.
• Provide strategic support for enterprise‑critical initiatives and build BU capability with tools and templates.
• Support routine strategic performance reviews and trigger reprioritization when needed.
• Lead executive strategy sessions and create concise memos and presentations to build alignment.
