Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Director of Engineering for CounselLink in Raleigh, NC. You will lead and grow the engineering organization, partner with product, architecture, security, and operations, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of complex software through AWS and Java-based services.

You will champion best practices, coaching, and cross-team collaboration to align technical strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of software development management experience.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams and technical staff.
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple internal and external engineering teams supporting CounselLink.
• Set technical direction and drive architectural and engineering standards.
• Budgeting, planning, and stakeholder management across product, architecture, UX, QA and security.
• Guide modernization across AWS, Java services, Solr, LLM-enabled workflows, and MCP integrations.
