Job summary

BECU is seeking a Director, Enterprise Program & Project Management to lead a team of program and project management professionals and to shape how work moves from strategy to execution. You will partner with senior leaders to govern portfolio intake, prioritization, and investments while driving product‑oriented, lean delivery across multiple programs.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating across Technology, Business, and EPMO to optimize outcomes for our members and communities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience, including at least 5 years of people leadership.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and product‑oriented ways of working.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational change.
• Experience connecting strategy to execution across delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing team of program and project managers.
• Advance strategic portfolio management through intake, governance, and planning.
• Champion product‑oriented delivery and lean portfolio concepts.
• Influence executive leaders on portfolio decisions and investments.
• Drive cross‑enterprise alignment across Technology, Business, and EPMO.
• Oversee complex enterprise delivery with scope, governance, and accountability.
• Identify risks and dependencies and steer timely resolution.
• Provide executive portfolio insights and actionable recommendations.
• Evolve delivery practices toward simplicity and continuous improvement.
• Lead organizational change related to EPMO initiatives and standards.
• Build organizational capability through coaching and career development.
