Job summary

Vanguard seeks a Director of Mobility & Executive Concierge Solutions Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and engineering of Vanguard’s mobile technology platform. Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical engineering teams at scale in mobility or workplace technology.
• Hands-on expertise in modern mobile management for iOS/Android with Intune and Workspace ONE.
• Track record architecting mobile solutions for executive populations with measurable improvements.
• Strong command of mobile security, conditional access, and identity engineering.
• Automation and scripting experience (PowerShell, Graph API).
• Experience governing change and resiliency in audit‑driven environments.
• Excellent executive communication and people leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi‑year strategy and engineering roadmap for Vanguard’s mobile platform.
• Develop mobile device capabilities: zero‑touch provisioning, BYOD, and zero‑trust controls.
• Design executive‑facing mobile solutions with automated configuration and self‑healing.
• Architect and govern MDM/UEM platforms (Intune and Workspace ONE) for compliance and consistency.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Identity, and Risk to ensure secure‑by‑design solutions.
• Drive automation and infrastructure‑as‑code across the mobile estate.
• Instrument the platform with telemetry and fleet‑health analytics.
• Govern high‑risk changes with disciplined controls balancing velocity and stability.
• Evaluate emerging mobile technologies and integrate them into the stack.
• Lead and mentor managers and engineers; build leadership depth and ownership.
• Communicate roadmap and investments to executive stakeholders.
