Job summary

NRG Energy seeks a Director of Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness to design and run the enterprise leadership development strategy. You will partner with People leaders, executives, and stakeholders to build leadership capability and a scalable talent framework across the company.

You will own talent management methodologies, lead succession planning, and drive analytics to measure program impact and business outcomes, shaping leadership pipelines enterprise-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; master’s degree preferred in HR or related field.
• 8-10+ years in Leadership Development, Talent Management, L&D, or HR.
• Experience leading enterprise talent management, including succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, and continuous improvement of enterprise leadership development.
• Oversee programs for emerging to senior leaders and measure impact.
• Establish a leadership development framework aligned with business priorities.
• Drive adoption of learning platforms, assessments, coaching, and tools.
• Oversee talent reviews, succession planning, and development planning processes.
