Job summary

GNC is seeking a Director of Enterprise Inventory Demand Planning to lead forecasting and inventory across retail, eCommerce, and wholesale. Build strategies to optimize service, margin, and working capital while ensuring product availability.

The role requires building a high-performing team, partnering with Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive growth, using advanced analytics and AI-powered tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required or equivalent.
• MBA or related discipline preferred for senior leadership.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in inventory planning or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise inventory planning and demand forecasting for multiple channels.
• Own and evolve Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes across categories and channels.
• Develop short- and long-term inventory strategies aligned with growth and promotions.
• Lead and mentor a team of Inventory Planners with data-driven culture.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, and Operations to optimize working capital.
• Establish performance metrics and report to senior leadership.
• Identify risks, supply constraints, and improvement opportunities using analytics.
• Explore AI/ML and automation to enhance forecasting and deployment.
