The University of the District of Columbia seeks a Director of Enterprise Infrastructure to oversee the IT infrastructure development and maintenance. This role coordinates with third-party services and guides network-related services to meet the University’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities include system administration, supporting tier 3 technical services, and maintaining network systems and hardware. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering.
The Director of Enterprise Infrastructure is responsible for collaborating in the development and maintenance of the information technology infrastructure at the University and for coordinating with the supporting service provisions by external third parties. The incumbent provides guidance, coordination and support of all network related services for the University community. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Associate Vice President of Enterprise Services with general oversight provided by the Vice President of Information Services Management (ISM). In addition, the incumbent works closely with other managers and staff in the ISM department, as well as other leaders throughout the University, to advance program goals and achieve strategic outcomes.

If selected, the employee must present eight proofs of bona fide District residency on or before the effective date of the appointment and maintain such residency for seven consecutive years. Failure to maintain residency will result in forfeiture of employment.
