Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Director of Enterprise Business Architecture to drive the development and adoption of enterprise business architecture practices, frameworks, and governance. You will partner with business and technology executives to define capabilities, guide modernization initiatives, and enable strategic decision-making across finance, HR, legal, and compliance.

This role provides thought leadership in capability modeling, process transformation, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Transformation, and/or Strategy.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across business functions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience influencing senior executives and leading cross-functional programs in a large, matrixed organization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Master’s or advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution and adoption of the Enterprise Business Capability Model (EBCM) and governance.
• Translate strategies into actionable business architecture roadmaps.
• Partner with leaders to align capabilities, domains, apps, APIs, and data assets.
• Guide modernization initiatives and multi-year investment planning.
• Lead and mentor a team of business architects and analysts.
• Develop executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations.
