Job summary

Eaton seeks a Director of Enterprise Business Architecture to lead the development and adoption of enterprise architecture practices, frameworks, and governance across the organization. You will partner with senior leaders to define capabilities, guide modernization initiatives, and enable strategic decision-making.

You will drive capability modeling, value streams, and operating model design while mentoring a team of architects to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and risk governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Transformation, and/or Strategy.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across business functions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience influencing senior executives and leading cross-functional programs in a large, matrixed organization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution and adoption of enterprise business architecture practices, frameworks, and governance.
• Translate complex business and technology strategies into actionable roadmaps.
• Partner with leaders to align capabilities, domains, applications, APIs, and data assets.
• Establish and maintain enterprise business architecture standards and governance processes.
• Lead modernization initiatives including operating model transformation, platform rationalization, and multi-year investment planning.
• Develop enterprise capability maps, value streams, process models, and investment frameworks.
• Guide the organization through future-state business and operating model design.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives on architecture strategy and transformation.
• Collaborate across functions to enable capability-driven planning and delivery.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of business architects and analysts.
