Job summary

Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI seeks a Director- System Business Intelligence and Analytics to lead the BI team and elevate our analytics maturity. You will architect the enterprise analytics strategy, oversee Analytics and Data Science, and drive data-driven decision making across clinical and operational domains.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare analytics leadership, expertise with Epic Cogito, and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, statistics, IT or related field.
• Master's degree in BI/Analytics, CS or related field highly desired.
• Experience in developing and implementing an enterprise analytics vision and strategy.
• Experience implementing automation and machine learning capabilities.
• Minimum five years of health care analytics and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Epic's Cogito environment and reporting tools such as Radar, Workbench, etc.
• Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience and/or certification.
• Experience in data visualization techniques and best practices.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics and AI-enabled data governance workflows.
• Experience with real-time data ingestion, pipelines, and audit balance controls.
• Excellent written and oral communication; comfortable presenting to senior executives.
• Strong business acumen, inquisitiveness, and detailed analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute the enterprise analytics strategy; move from traditional reporting to a data-driven ecosystem.
• Oversee Analytics and Data Science, Data Architecture and Development within Business Intelligence.
• Deliver actionable insights to solve complex business challenges and drive fiscal efficiency.
• Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to align analytics with clinical and operational goals.
