Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications to lead strategic technology architecture, cybersecurity governance, and enterprise app environments in Idaho. The role partners with agency leaders to ensure secure, integrated, and reliable technology solutions that support service delivery.

You will drive architecture strategy, oversee cloud-based solutions, and champion governance, risk management, and operational excellence across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, including enterprise application administration, implementation, lifecycle management, integrations, cybersecurity and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; substantial experience may substitute for degree.
• Knowledge of enterprise business applications, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, IAM, integrations, vendor management, governance, and project delivery.
• Experience supervising employees, leading cross-functional initiatives, and managing competing priorities in a complex organization.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with ability to communicate tech concepts to executives.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft 365, enterprise software administration, and technology management tools.
• Demonstrates resilience, sound judgment, and adaptability while leading organizational change and solving complex issues.
• Thrives in a complex environment and collaborates to improve end-user experiences across the tech service lifecycle.
• Willingness to travel between worksites; valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise technology architecture, cybersecurity program, and enterprise app environment.
• Partner with agency leaders to support implementation, integration, and governance of enterprise technologies.
• Develop and execute enterprise technology architecture strategy aligning apps, cybersecurity, cloud, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate and optimize enterprise applications and cloud-based solutions.
• Oversee enterprise cybersecurity governance, policies, standards, and best practices for data protection and compliance.
• Align enterprise applications, cybersecurity, network and infrastructure with IT Operations for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement solutions improving operational effectiveness and interoperability.
• Lead and develop Enterprise Applications and Cybersecurity teams; set priorities and promote excellence.
• Evaluate architecture and emerging technologies, recommending improvements for security and scalability.
