Job summary

NYSERDA seeks a creative, self-motivated leader to oversee its Energy Planning & Policy, Policy Analysis and Energy Markets portfolios as Director or Sr. Director. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Policy, Analysis & Research and drives policy decisions with rigorous analysis.

The position leads studies, mentors teams, and develops briefings, collaborating with state agencies to advance clean energy, reliability and affordability across New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience including supervisory roles across business/non-profit/government sectors.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to state energy policy development (Energy Plan, Climate Action Council).
• Oversee studies on clean energy technologies and market dynamics.
• Provide support to NYS agencies and inform program design."
• Develop policy briefings and presentations for NYSERDA Executives and the Board.
