Easterseals of New Jersey is seeking a Director of Employment and Day Habilitation Services to lead strategy, program development, and day-to-day operations for supported employment, prevocational, and day habilitation programs in Atlantic & Cumberland Counties, NJ.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and a commitment to person-centered services, with a focus on independence, community integration, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Human Services or related field.
• Experience leading programs in supported employment, prevocational, or day habilitation.
• Strong knowledge of CARF standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for employment, day habilitation, and COE programs.
• Oversee staff development, supervision, and performance management.
• Ensure staffing models support service delivery across programs.
• Drive continuous quality improvement with data and outcomes.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and licensing standards.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and monthly P&L oversight.
• Strengthen employer and community partnerships to expand services.
• Collaborate with leadership to align program strategy with goals.
