Easterseals New Jersey is seeking an Employment Specialist / Job Coach to support individuals with disabilities in Atlantic & Cumberland Counties. This role blends job coaching, career counseling, workforce development, case management, and community outreach to help clients achieve meaningful, competitive employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in human services or related field with IDD population experience.
• Experience with employer outreach, job placement, workforce development, sales, recruiting, marketing, or community engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with local businesses, employers, staffing agencies, and community organizations to create employment opportunities.
• Conduct job development, business outreach, networking, and employer engagement activities.
• Assist individuals with disabilities in identifying career goals and developing individualized employment plans.
• Provide career coaching, vocational support and workforce readiness training.
• Match job seekers with employment opportunities based on skills, interests, and career objectives.
• Provide job coaching, workplace training, and ongoing employment support to help individuals maintain successful employment.
• Support participants in developing professional communication, workplace etiquette, interviewing, and other job-readiness skills.
• Complete assessments, intake documentation, progress notes, and case management activities.
